Introduction
Jaguar Land Rover's CAD and Draughting (CADD) Standards
The purpose of the Jaguar Land Rover CAD and Draughting (CADD) Standards is to provide direction to Jaguar Land Rover Engineering Activities, Suppliers, and contract engineering companies for the preparation of Product, Manufacturing and Service technical drawings for use by Jaguar Land Rover and its suppliers. These Standards provide comprehensive information regarding the preparation and interpretation of engineering 2D drawings and 3D models and assist Jaguar Land Rover's engineering organisations to satisfy the principles of ISO/TS 16949.
JLR's Technical Product Specification is BS 8888:2013 and is to be referred to when the JLR CADD Standards don't satisfy the requirement. (BS 8888:2013 replaces BS 8888:2011 which has been withdrawn.)

Technical Product Definition (TPD)
Standards CADJLR.01.01 and CADJLR.01.02 come under the category of Techinal Product Documentation and explain the manner in which you are
required to communicate and convey the definition of a part and its specification. They cover all 2D drawings and 3D model CAD releases and outline
the requirements for Product Engineering and Manufacturing activities when they, or their suppliers, produce any type of drawing or CAD file for release.
The topics covered in each of the standards are listed below.
